Damage caused during repair

On a private road, damage has been incurred to the retaining walls, grass and drive etc by EQC contractors driving trucks to access the properties they are repairing.

Who is responsible for repairing this damage?

EQC advises:

Contractors are responsible for reinstating workplaces, which also means repairing such damage. If you believe that damage was caused by EQC's contractors during your CHRP repair and the damage has not been rectified, please speak to your Contract Supervisor in the first instance.
